Deaf Bible Church (DBC)

AMD founded the Deaf Bible Church in St. Elizabeth's in the early 1980's. Deaf Bible Church has been without a pastor for approximately 15 years. AMD, the congregation, and the elders of DBC jointly are seeking a qualified person to lead their congregation. Until then the teaching ministry has continued under the leadership of Mrs. Pauline Bent and the elders.

Each year Rev. Martin Lewis accompanied by a deaf team from the US travel to the church. They do maintenance on the buildings and Rev. Lewis preaches and counsels. Other teams from the US have done major repair from the damage to the buildings that results from hurricanes that hit the island.
